FAQ'S
Henson’s Heroes is run solely by volunteers, 100% of proceeds are donated, and
as a 501(c)(3), all contributions made to Henson’s Heroes are deductible
under section 170 of Internal Revenue Code.
Pounding the Pavement
Henson's Heroes is always looking for ways to get our name out in the community. It is our hope to one day be a household name here in Kansas City. The sky is the limit! Your ideas are always welcome.
Appearances or Speeches
The kids want so badly to spread the word about Henson's Heroes. If you have an event that you would like to hold in honor of HH, we will do all we can to get there.
Donations from your Organization
If you are a church group, sorority, or any other group looking for a service project, we welcome your donations all year round. All holidays and occasions are welcome with Henson's Heroes.
Monetary Donations
100% of all monies donated to Henson's Heroes is put back into items of need for CMH. We will purchase toys or other items such as clothes with the money. If you would like to make a monetary donation we can provide a receipt as we are a 501c3 Non-Profit.
What can I donate?
Children's Mercy is always in need of items from toys to items of clothing. If you are looking for ideas for your Toy Drive or other donation drive please see our LIST OF ITEMS TO DONATE page.
Annual Christmas Toy Drive
Although we donate all year round, Christmas is a time of year when the city is focused on giving. Watch our website and Facebook page for upcoming events where you can make your donation to Henson's Heroes and Children's Mercy Hospital.
